The Python Developer Role

• Primarily you will be working on Python backend services, most of which use Flask.
• Some of their services are written in Go, and they make extensive use of various Google Cloud Platform services and "DevOps" tooling. We
• You will have the opportunity to learn about new technologies and acquire new skills.
• The Digital Team is subdivided into two cross-functional delivery teams. They review this structure together periodically to optimise our efficiency and ensure that team members have the support and learning opportunities they need.
• Backend engineers across the teams stay in sync via scheduled catch-ups and regular ad-hoc discussions.

The successful python developer should have:

• Python developer with a minimum of three to four years of commercial experience.
• Experience of building modern web applications - proven experience of designing and building REST APIs is desirable.
• Fluent in Git.
• Comfortable working on the command line.
